Tech Tour Announced its annual Award Winners  

Honouring the growth and deep tech scale-up champions with unicorn potential 

 

Paris, 9 March 2023 

Tech Tour presented last night the Award Winners of Tech Tour Growth50 (read more about the list), the annual list of Europe's potential future unicorns. The selected companies have been recognised for their impressive performance and future further growth and impact.  

 

The Tech Tour Growth50 list and report is a highly coveted ranking, compiled through a rigorous process of nominations, voting and selection that considers multiple factors, including revenue growth, market potential, and funding raised. It involved a selection panel of 90 investors chaired by Falk Müller-Veerse of Bryan, Garnier & Co. and with vice chairs Elina Berrebi of Revaia, Janke Dittmer of Gilde Healthcare, and Remy de Tonnac of ETF Partners. The past chairs Joerg Sievert, George Coelho, Anne Glover, Eric Archambeau and Sven Lingjaerde added to the final votes to select the 3 Growth Award winners: 

Tech Tour Growth Award Digital  

ICEYE, Finland – ICEYE has developed the largest constellation of microsatellites, equipped with synthetic-aperture radars (SAR), that provides advanced technology for objective, data-driven decision-making in multiple sectors. 

Tech Tour Growth Award Health  

Huma, UK – Huma is a healthcare technology company, spanning across multiple geographies on four continents, which has developed a platform for remote patient monitoring that improves the delivery of connected care to patients and accelerates research and therapies. 

Tech Tour Growth Award Sustainability  

Refurbed, Austria – Refurbed is the fastest-growing online marketplace for refurbished electronic products like phones, laptops and tablets in German-speaking countries, offering a sustainable alternative to new products, thus preventing electronic waste and reducing environmental impact. 

 

Tech Tour announced these Winners at our flagship event Tech Tour Growth Europe in Paris on the 8th of March 2023. The event was co-hosted with EuroQuity Bpifrance and the European Innovation Council (EIC) ScalingUp project. The event has the partnering support of Wilson Sonsini, Bryan, Garnier & Co, Silverpeak and Euronext. 

 

Tech Tour also announced the 3 winners of the Investment Impact Awards of the European Innovation Council (EIC) ScalingUp project. The following three companies from the Growth50 list, which are also part of the European Innovation Council (EIC) ScalingUp deep tech programme, received the honorary Investment Impact Award for having raised significant funding in the past 15 months despite the market conditions: 

 

IQM, Finland is the leading European quantum hardware company building the next-generation superconducting quantum computers, which won last year's Tech Tour Growth Award Digital. 

PASQAL, France builds quantum computers using ordered neutral atoms arranged in 2D and 3D arrays to provide its customers with practical quantum benefits and solve real-world problems. 

SMART Photonics, Netherlands is a pure-play foundry for InP photonics semiconductors that offers innovative solutions for data and telecommunication, sensing and medical applications to customers.
