Cosmetica Italia is the Association representing companies that are part of the Italian cosmetics system. It was founded to support the development of cosmetic companies in Italy, is today a well-structured association - the largest in Europe - and offers services, representation and protection to the 500 member companies. It has established since 2008 the quality management system according to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 and in 2013 the environmental management system UNI EN ISO 14.001: 2004, both obtained by Certiquality. Cosmetica Italia now has around 500 companies, representing 95% of the sector's turnover. Consumption close to 10 billion euros and an increase in exports of 7%: these are the numbers registered by the Italian cosmetics industry in 2013, the fourth economic system of the sector after Germany, France and Great Britain with 35 thousand employed, which go up to 200 thousand with the induced.

AISPEC, the National Association of Fine Chemical Companies and Specialist Sectors, is one of the 17 Federchimica Industry Associations, the National Federation of Chemical Industry which is part of Confindustria and which adheres to Cefic. The area of fine chemistry and of chemical specialties pertains to active ingredients, formulated, additives and auxiliaries, enzymes and functional ingredients, aromas and fragrances, agro-industry products, destined for many sectors of the manufacturing industry. It represents over 300 companies organized in 14 merchandise groups.

Assobiotec, the National Association for the Development of Biotechnologies, is a company that represents about 130 companies and technological and scientific parks operating in Italy in the various sectors of application of biotech: health, agriculture, environment and industrial processes. ASSOFIBRE CIRFS ITALIA is the Italian Industrial Association which groups together companies producing artificial and synthetic fibers. Founded in 1926, it is part of FEDERCHIMICA, National Federation of Chemical Industry. Assofibre Cirfs Italia is also a member of CIRFS (International Rayon and Synthetic Fibers Committee), of the UNITEX (National Association Unification Textile Products) and participates with the trade associations to coordinate the activity in favor of the Italian textile chain.
