Overview

European Tech Tour Semiconductor Summit

After 23 successful regional Tech Tours, The European Tech Tour Association launched the 1st summit in a series of vertical events that will gather the best emerging European companies in a given industry sector. This initiative sprouted from the need to identify and showcase European technology start-ups in a vertical industry segment to professionals investing or working within this industry. The concept is to structure a best of best startup track along side an innovative industry specific initiative.

The first of our series covered the semiconductor segment. The ETT Semiconductor Summit 06 was jointly organized with IMEC, Europe's leading independent research center in micro and nanotechnologics field and took place October 24-25, 2006 in Brussels and Leuven, Belgium. The European Tech Tour Semiconductor Summit gathered a selected group of 150 international solutions & IP developers, semiconductor corporates, EDA & electronic system companies, entrepreneurs, service providers and venture capitalists.
