Clean Tech Delta
Clean Tech Delta (CTD) is a privately driven cooperation of internationally operating companies, knowledge institutions and local governments. Our private partners take the lead in recognising and developing new clean tech business. Local governments facilitate this cooperation. As a business minded triple helix organisation, officially established in May 2013, we form a new type of public-private partnership in order to realise new business for our members and attract new funding. We believe that clean tech is the key to adapt to and create a new economy. Using the region as an Urban Living Lab, a place where newly applied clean tech solutions can be tested, we can share the solutions and apply them, on a large(r) scale, abroad. Our ambition is to strengthen the clean tech cluster in our region and to make a significant contribution to the regional economy. In 2020 our cluster will count 4.000 companies, SME’s and start-up’s, which will provide 50.000 jobs.
