'Carbon to Cash'. CarbonOrO slashes the costs for CO2 capture.
CarbonOrO systems capture CO2 (carbon dioxide or short: carbon) from gasses. Applications are in three markets: 1. Upgrading of biogas into biomethane, as a sustainable replacement for natural gas. Biomathane is, a worldwide and steadily growing market. 2. Production of 'green' CO2 from flue gasses. CO2 is used in glass houses, the food industry, for celling and as feedstock in various chemical products, including biofuels. 3. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) within energy intensive industries, where emitters will increasingly be confronted with emission costs and/or limits. CCS is a solution to these emission problems, turning fossil energy into sustainable energy. According to the International Energy Agency, CCS will take off on a massive scale as per 2020, due to rising prices of CO2 emission allowances and carbon taxes. CarbonOrO slashes traditional costs for CO2 capture with up to 50% by using waste heat in a low-temperature process, a unique offering in the industry.
