Overview

The 2008 European MedTech Summit assembled the ecosystem of MedTech in Switzerland on November 19-20th. This international Summit was open to senior executives of global MedTech companies and investment professionals active in this sector, and highlighted the most promising European MedTech companies selected by a Selection Committee of 20 senior professionals on a competitive basis.

To identify the upcoming and leading top 20+ high-growth privately held medical technology companies in Europe and to introduce them to key European, US and Asian investors and professionals who can assist in their global expansion.

A selection committee purpose is to ensure the independence of the selection process. It is composed by experienced and highly regarded senior professionals, from relevant backgrounds and industry expertise, such as venture capital, technology industry, investment banks, research and specialized press.
