The Irish Tech Tour 1999
The Irish Tech Tour '99 (ITT) was held May 12-14,1999.
The ITT '99 was lead by William Kiely of Goodbody Stockbrokers. The company Unique was hired as event managers to coordinate the Tour. Some 24 emerging companies presented at the ITT, which focused on the Dublin area with visits to IBEC House, South County Business Park, PricewaterhouseCoopers headquarters, Intel semiconductors fab. and University College Dublin. 41 delegates from 13 countries attended the ITT, including a representative from Wall Street Journal, and countries such as Japan, Singapore and the United States. All were very pleased about the event and greatly encouraged the Association to pursue its mission.

Selection Committee
A group of highly regarded professionals took the responsibility of screening
and selecting the companies that presented at the Irish Tech Tour 1999.
A selection committee is set up to ensure the independence of the selection
process. It is composed by experienced and highly regarded senior professionals,
from relevant backgrounds and industry expertise, such as venture capital,
technology industry, investment banks, research and specialized press.
